  2. UK sighting/abductions.

  4. I post this article as I remember seeing a report posted here a few weeks ago of a seperate 
  5. incident but in the same area of Hinckley, Leicester.
  6.  
  7. The initial report consisted of shoppers seeing a small but brightly lit light hovering over 
  8. some railway tracks. Notes posted here suggested that it could have been some sort of 
  9. electrical ball lightning.

  14. On a clear moonlit night last October, a family of four were travelling 
  15. on the M69 motorway between Coventry and Leicester in the East 
  16. Midlands, to join up with the M1 motorway to visit relatives further 
  17. North in Nottingham.
  18.  
  19. As his wife and two children were dozing `Steve` suddenly noticed an 
  20. odd illuminated ball of mist-like qualities, the size of a transit van, 
  21. suddenly "shoot over" the top of his car from right to left.
  22.  
  23. It then flew back in the opposite direction, and was seen shortly 
  24. afterwards to hover over a nearby electricity pylon.
  25.  
  26. With his wife now awake Steve`s curiosity was such, that he pulled the 
  27. vehicle onto the hard shoulder and switched on his hazard warning 
  28. lights - just in time to see that the `mist` had now turned into a hazy 
  29. blue cloud.

  31. As he got out of the car to get a better view, the `cloud` appeared to 
  32. frequently brighten and dim, moving up and down close to the pylon as 
  33. it did so.
  34.  
  35. Steve began to think that the cloud was somehow intelligently 
  36. controlled because as it moved towards the pylon, it would manouvre to 
  37. avoid actual contact with it.

  39. His conviction was suddenly reinforced when a bright white light came 
  40. on at the edge of the object, and other lights flickered into life, 
  41. forming a 100ft circle effect which amazingly began to spin.

  43. Within the glowing mist, other lights came on, and these formed a 
  44. smaller 40ft wide ring.
  45.  
  46. As all the lights became much brighter, a saucer shape could clearly be 
  47. seen. Steve said "It was beautiful and quite silent."
  48.  
  49. The only noise heard was when the object "whooshed" over his vehicle, 
  50. just 50ft above him, travelling at a phenominal speed. Steve`s wife 
  51. witnessed the entire incident, but by now, one of their children had 
  52. woken up and was crying. "Make it go away daddy, I`m frightened, I`m 
  53. frightened."

  55. Because of this Steve reluctantly got back into his car and drove off, 
  56. but was unnerved to see that the object appeaeared to be pacing his 
  57. vehicle. He increased speed to 80 mph, but it made no difference.

  59. He pulled off the motorway at the Hinckley roundabout, and steered onto 
  60. some waste ground, but the object was still there, and like them, 
  61. stationary.
  62.  
  63. Finally, and with his family panic-stricken, he drove back onto the 
  64. motorway, and this time, the skies were empty and clear of the mystery 
  65. object.

  67. Later, both Steve and his wife agreed to recount their experiences 
  68. under hypnotic regression, and both recalled an abduction experience.
